New Logo Developer Manager, Boston MA, USA

Job Responsibilities

The primary focus of the New Logo Developer Manager (NLDM) is to manage the process of new logo development (new to Altium) and a team of New Logo Developers whose main responsibility is to take quick action and segment Market Qualified Leads (MQL) into defined categories. Some of the segmented leads will be passed straight to the New Logo Closer team (Sr Account Executives) while the majority of the leads will be maintained by the New Logo Developer. The NLD team will use a defined sales process in order to move leads from “interested and possible” states to “probable and definite” states using an automated content drive process and sales skills to drive prospects to “see” our products by way of various media types such as: setting up qualified demos for the “Closer” team, on-demand videos, or attending live public webinars. The NLDM’s duties include continual new logo development sales process improvement and maintaining a team environment that thrives on high activity and motivation.

Summary of essential job functions

Manage a team of 5+ New Logo Developers to ensure real time actions for all MQL leads
Provide detailed metrics on sales activity and results to senior management
Become an expert in the Altium sales process and systems
Understand and utilize the sales tools to measure activity expectations and monitor quality of activity (Salesforce, Insight Squared, TouT, etc)
Ensure streamlined and frequent communications and collaboration between team, management, and the Technical Sales and Closer team to set up demonstrations and technical calls
Collaborate with senior sales management to refine the new log development process to optimize throughout
Provide leadership, coaching and direction to continue to develop the New Logo Developer team with a focus on exceeding business objectives.
Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of company and competitive products and services.
Collaborate with Altium Marketing and provide feedback on what collateral is needed
Attend and actively participate in sales management meetings.

Requirements

Bachelors’ Degree holder with at least 5 years of relevant individual sales experience and sale management.
Proven track recording of managing a “business development team” and working with other sale teams
Self-directed, resourceful, highly driven individual with demonstrated track record of achieving/exceeding sales targets.
Technology background with a strong track record of building and maintaining relationships with key decisions makers.
Experience with Sales Force a PLUS
Ability to travel 20% of the time.
